Day 1 is amazing from start to finish. It's easy to get to in Newton, with great parking. The moment you walk in, you're welcomed by friendly staff into a bright, spacious gym with high ceilings. The facilities are top-notch—plenty of mat space and great locker rooms with showers. The children's classes are a perfect mix of fun games, technique, and controlled sparring—my kids love it. I can't recommend it enough!

Day 1 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Newton is the place you want to go, period. The new facility is bright, open, incredibly clean, and everything feels brand new and top of the line. Marcos the head coach has a rare gift. Not every high-level competitor can teach, and not every teacher can teach kids. More than a gym, this is an amazing community. Highly recommend.

The best instructors in the game!! Marcos and Bernardo create a phenomenal environment to learn and have such a vast knowledge of the sport. They have a great facility and it's always clean! The people there are like family and are always very friendly and welcoming to guests and new folks.

Great community and coaches. A nice balance of advanced and foundational techniques to build off of. Much like Marcos pushes intention when coaching, the place is built with intention to create a community around BJJ while also making the practitioners better at the sport.
